I recently moved and needed an air-conditioned unit to store my worldly goods in. I shopped around and found that Gator Storage was right in line as far as price, but far exceeded the competition in service and amenities. The staff was far friendlier than the other storage facilities and staff, and the convenience of their hours of access to my unit is outstanding. They were able to get me a truck in less than 24 hours and had equipment on site that I could rent and purchase (boxes, tape, dolly, etc.)

I’ve moved 17 times in my life, due to the Air Force and later chasing a career in communications electronics. The move facilitated by Gator was without question the smoothest. It started out with a crazy schedule. Robin came in on Sunday morning, her day off, and the day before her vacation to sign over the truck. The rental process with Gator Storage has been great. The facility is very clean and the staff is very friendly. We showed up close to closing time on a Saturday, but they still took the time to talk to us and show us a couple of units to help us decide what would work best for us. They didn’t just treat us like customers; it was like we had known them for years. And when money is tight, you just can’t beat their move-in specials!

My very first experience with renting a storage space was very easy thanks to Gator Storage. My mother-in-law was moving in with us and had to store her stuff. The staff came out to the truck and estimated what size we would need and they were right. They are very friendly and professional all the way. I even lost the key one day and could not get in. Gator Storage was very helpful to me by providing a Uhaul rental along with accessories to help me move. The staff is very friendly and informative, also providing me with interior and exterior storage. They pumped up my truck tire for me when I moved in. The gate hours are great. We can come and go as we please through the gate. They have a very good security system, completely fenced in along with motion detectors throughout the property. I rented a UHaul truck several months prior to using the storage facilities. The Gator Storage staff stayed late to help me with the UHaul and they were very friendly and helpful. Several months later I was in need of a storage unit and I had looked at other places then went to Gator Storage. Gator Storage not only has wonderful staff, great secured units within secured buildings which are very clean but it is the only place in the area with late gate hours. I’ve been renting from them for several months and I have never seen a bug in the enclosed buildings and the units are extremely clean.

Gator Storage in Leesburg, FL is a great storage place to rent from. I was moving here from Kansas and had to find a storage facility online which is scary. I picked Gator Storage because they had a great website and I am a Gator alumni. When I called to inquire about them, they were super friendly and helpful and easy to deal with. Then, when I got here after an 1800 mile trip with a loaded UHaul, 3 dogs, 2 kids and a tired husband, they were so helpful letting us check in late in the day and leave the loaded Uhaul overnight. We came back in the morning to unload and they checked on us throughout the day offering water & restroom facilities. The place is CLEAN and organized and it feels safe to go in and out of checking on your things. I have had my stuff stored there for 7 months now and have had ZERO problems.

They have offered to sweep my unit. Up until recently, I have taken my payment by the office. I was always greeted upon my arrival. My wife and I bought an RV park in Leesburg (Footloose Resort). Moved here from Austin, Texas and wasn’t sure who and where to have our storage.

When I signed up for the unit they showed me the various ones available that met my personal needs. Also when I moved out they helped me with some contacts for loading the truck for the move down south. I went to Gator Storage to store stuff from my brother’s house after he passed away. They were very considerate, understanding & very willing to work with us.

My name is Marianne and I want to take this opportunity to share some of the reasons that I am a Gator Storage client.
I have been a Gator Storage customer for just over eleven years and cannot begin to describe how fantastic my storage experience with them has been. From day one, I have never had anything but positive encounters with the awesome staff at Gator…..a staff that truly goes above and beyond to take good care of their clients.
The grounds as well as the individual storage units are well maintained. Everything is kept clean and neat, and they exercise great pest control. In other places I’ve used (out of state and here in FL) you might be overrun with ants or roaches. Not the case at Gator Storage! I’ve not had to worry about insects or any type of small rodent…none! I originally had a regular drive-up access unit and when it became necessary to have an air-conditioned one, none were available. The Gator staff kept me updated as to when they expected one. They called right away and had it cleaned and ready to move my extra belongings in ASAP.
I unfortunately had some severe health issues and had a lengthy hospitalization. Not only did those Gators work with me regarding paying my account on time (or ahead), but they actually took the time and effort to send me a “Get Well” card too! How many businesses would have even considered doing that, let alone having written a personal message with individual personal signatures….NO IMPERSONAL STAMP! A personal, heartfelt card!! I was not only impressed, but exceptionally grateful!
As recently as this past weekend (August 27th) the need for a Uhaul trailer unexpectedly presented itself and Gator Storage Uhaul worked with me and had the trailer ready literally within minutes! It was awesome knowing that they were there for me at a moments’ notice.
I know that it may sound strange to some that I might be so excited about a storage facility. But in addition to doing business with me, they have truly become my friends. They know me by name on sight, they do not treat me as “just another customer” or an account number to be billed next month. Sure…..we’ve all seen advertised specials with other companies, but no one can hold a candle to the genuine kindness, concern, and consideration of the terrific folks at Gator Storage. I appreciate them enormously and thank God for all that they’ve done for me in the past, what they do for me on a regular basis, as well as what I am assured they will continue to do in the future.

We were from out of state but had heard about Gator Storage when we bought a home at The Plantation. Our annual habit is to bounce from Maine to Mexico and so naturally we rely a lot on the word of others when in an unfamiliar location. After two more trips to Florida, we completed furnishing our home and were back up in Maine. Wouldn’t you know, two weeks later, our leasing agent phoned to say she had a long term renter for us but that she wanted the house empty. Well this threw us into a bit of a panic and we rushed down to Leesburg, started with a visit to Gator and were so pleased with our initial personal contact and with the facilities, we signed an annual lease immediately without shopping around, which is not our normal way of doing business. But we later found, in this case, it proved to be a wise and time saving decision on our part. We were provided with a clean, secure and easy to access locker and the rest of the move went without a hitch, bad pun I know. We especially appreciate the extra effort put forth by you folks when our Tenant all of a sudden decided she wanted the washer and dryer, which of course had already been stored, and your part in making that happen after we were already long gone. Competitive pricing is one thing but it is the excellence in service which keeps us coming back to whomever is providing a service we need and we are unreservedly happy to provide our references for Gator Storage. Since I have been with them, I have not had any problems. In fact, they have helped me more than they can imagine.
